Vizio sound bars come with many controls allowing you to customize the settings according to your liking. These settings sometimes go wrong or cause an issue in your sound bar.

Why Vizio Soundbar Lights Flashing?
There is more than one possible reason why your Vizio soundbar is flashing lights up and down. For example, the soundbar is in pairing mode and searching for nearby devices.
However, in such a case, the lights go off after 15 seconds. Other causes include the demo mode, wrong settings, system error or loose connection. Apply the following tricks to resolve these issues.
How to Solve the Lights Flashing Up and Down on the Vizio Soundbar?
First of all, keep in mind that there is no hardware issue. The issue is only with settings. Then, try the following solutions.
1. Restart the Soundbar
An effective trick is to turn OFF and then back ON your Vizio soundbar. It sometimes solves the issue but mostly not.
You can try the next step. Unplug your soundbar from the power source and wait for 30-60 seconds. Then, connect the power source back again.
2. Check the Connection Cables
The connection cables of your soundbar may be loose. Therefore, it is flashing lights because of the poor connection.
So, make sure that the cables are plugged firmly into the source device such as a TV. Disconnect the cable and then connect again.
3. Ensure Adequate Power
Inadequate power supply or frequent disconnections can also cause the issue of blinking lights. So, make sure that the power cord is plugged tightly into the power outlet.

4. Change the Settings

5. Get Out of the Demo Mode
Demo mode is used to show the features of the device to the customers. In this situation, the device makes sounds or blinks light but other buttons do not work.
Hence, you should get out of the demo mode on your soundbar. There are four different ways for this. The easiest method is to find the “Demo Mode” option in the SmartCast app and disable it.
Other methods require pressing some combination keys. Press the Input+Bluetooth or Input+Volume Up or Input+Volume Down buttons for 10-15 seconds or until all LEDs blink white 4 times.
5. Restore Factory Settings
