- Next, click the ‘Find Missing Products’ option.

- Unplug your speaker from the power outlet.
- Wait for 5 seconds at least.
- Now, connect the speaker to the power supply again.
- The status indicator will glow white telling that the speaker is powering on.
- Once, your Sonos speaker is powered on, try finding it in the Sonos app.
- If the status light indicator glows green, it means you should add your speaker to the Sonos app.
5. Reboot the Wifi Router
Just like the speaker, you should also power cycle or reboot your Wifi router. It may be creating an issue that’s why your speaker cannot be found in the Sonos app. You can reboot your router by the method given below;
- Simply disconnect the power supply to your Wifi router.
- Wait a few moments and plug it again.
- Keep patience until the router is back online.
- Now, reconnect your devices to the Wifi network.

6. Check the Wireless Connection
Another reason the app cannot find your speaker is out of range network. The distance between your Sonos speaker and the Wifi router is too much. Your Sonos speaker cannot stay connected. So, weaker network signals prevent the speaker from discovering in the app.
Place your Sonos speaker closer to the router. If you have connected your speaker an Ethernet cable then move it closer to another nearest Sonos product.
Also, make sure that your Sonos speaker and mobile device (on which the Sonos app is downloaded) are connected to the same Wifi network. If you have connected them to different networks, the app will not be able to find the speaker.
7. Make a Wired Connection
Your Sonos speaker may be facing trouble in connecting to the wireless network. It happens when you connect too many devices with the same network.
Making a wired connection can solve the issue. You just need an Ethernet cable. Plug its one end in the Wifi router and the other end in the Ethernet port on your Sonos speaker. Now, discover your speaker in the Sonos app.
8. Remove Any Interference
Another electronic device can also interfere with the signals. Make sure that no electronic device is present in the close vicinity of your Sonos speaker. Some electronic devices work on the same frequency as your Sonos speaker or Wifi router. So, they interfere with the signals. Resultantly, the Sonos app cannot find your speaker.
Another thing is the material on which you have places your Sonos speaker. Do not place it on a metal surface instead use a wooden surface. Because metals can interrupt the wireless signals.
9. Connect to Another Device
Your Android, iOS device, PC, or Mac may be creating this issue. Suppose, if you have installed the Sonos app on your PC and it cannot find your speaker. You should download the Sonos app on another device such as your Android phone.
Now, search the speaker from this device. If it can be found then your previous device has some problem. Troubleshoot your device to solve this issue. In the case of the smartphone, reset it to initial settings or restore the factory setting.
If none of the above solutions works then your speaker has some intricate issues. In such a situation, you should seek help from Sonos customer support. Go to their website and submit the complaint.
